Release note

OneSeq 0.4.3: live parameter-lock recording

Record parameter motion into a playing pattern from the UI, keyboard, or mapped MIDI, then change the capture scope without switching REC off.

What changed for users

  • Arm one or more tracks, including MASTER, start Pattern playback, enable global REC, and move parameters to write locks across the steps you cross.
  • ALL can write on every crossed step, while TRIGS restricts recording to existing note or parameter-lock trigs; LOCKS and ALL/TRIGS remain switchable while REC stays active.
  • Lock-only steps are visibly marked, and each recording segment becomes a clean undo and Action Journal boundary when the capture setting changes.
  • Recording is Pattern-only in this release; NOTES remains reserved, and Mixer, FX, LFO, bridge, and MCP-originated changes are not captured.

Downloads

Arm tracks first, start Pattern playback, enable REC, and use TRIGS when you want to restrict writes. The Windows installer remains unsigned, so verify SHA-256 before installing.
