OneSeq

Release note

OneSeq 0.4.2: smoother Windows launch and safer output

This release removes the extra terminal window on Windows, adds reusable user presets and sample-folder onboarding, and makes output levels easier to read and protect.

What changed for users

  • The MSI and portable ZIP now open OneSeq directly as a Windows app, without showing a black terminal window first.
  • Save, overwrite, rename, and delete user presets without modifying the factory library; first launch can also set a skippable global WAV sample folder for new projects.
  • Measured track and master meters now show real RMS and peak levels, while a default-on -1 dBFS safety limiter protects live playback, WAV exports, and stems.
  • Agent-assisted sessions can set the global pattern length to 16, 32, 64, or 128 steps through the undoable oneseq_set_pattern_length MCP tool.
