Release note

OneSeq 0.4.0: export the idea

This release adds real Pattern/Song export for WAV, stems, MIDI, and project bundles, plus a cockpit Menu that groups common project, playback, track, sound, fractal, export, and system actions.

What changed for users

  • Config now has a practical Export panel: choose Current Pattern or Song, choose WAV, MIDI, or Project Bundle, and run the export from one place.
  • WAV export can render the current pattern or the Song grid, and optional stems write one file per audio track alongside the master mix.
  • MIDI export writes a standard .mid file from active note steps so the sequence can move into a DAW or hardware setup.
  • Project Bundle export writes a portable OneSeq bundle JSON with project state and sample references for backup or handoff, without copying private sample audio by default.
  • The old standalone File button is gone; project and export commands now live in the cockpit Menu beside playback, pattern, track, sound, fractal, and system actions.
